Life skills Program
1. For 700 Tribal Children
2. Education through life skills at Gariguddu Village, Ananthagiri Mandal enabling them to meet the challenges of everyday life.
3. Sports material was distributed to the children participated in the life skills program.
Short Stay Home
1. Youth 13 nos. are supported with boarding and lodging and are enabled with education facilities.
2. Higher Education support to 10 needy children.
Capacity Building Program
1. Involving Faith Based Organizations (FBOs)
2. 23 Community Development Facilitators (CDFs) with their families participated.
3. This program was conducted to build capacity for the CDFs on how to serve the communities more effectively without compromising on the values.
4. Each of the families was honoured with a family gift pack as token of appreciation.
5. Addressing Child Abuse, Child Trafficking, (Children with difficult situations) by way of raising awareness to the needy families in the communities
Education Material Distribution
1. 105 children from Tribal communities have been blessed with educational materials such as books, pens, exam pads, pencils, note books and also school shoes.
2. These are from Singarayakonda, Prakasam District, Andhra Pradesh.
3. 120 children from slums have been provided School Bags.
4. Bridge school in the targeted communities, Extra coaching classes to poor and needy children who cannot afford to have extra- tuition facility on pay.
5. De Rebello Children Home is ready to shelter 20 orphan children at Bhogapuram.
International Day for the violence against women
An educative programme where women from our operational villages were taught on their rights and responsibilities.
‘Bucket of Love’ program
To show care to a child in a tangible way, with the bucket filled with educational materials, games/toys and other essential items of a child’s interest and need.
Swanthana’s Public Library.
Swanthana is running community information centre at Durgapuram with the support of CBOs where more than 350 children and youth are benefiting.
